2. Risk Transfer and Acceptance of Delivery
As outlined in our T&Cs, the risk of loss or damage transfers to you upon the product’s handover. Upon receipt of the goods, it is essential that you inspect the packaging and contents immediately. Any noticeable transit damage must be reported to the courier and Transglobal Investments Co. Pvt Ltd., immediately upon delivery.
3. Formal Return Notification
For administrative organisation and prompt resolution, any intention to return a product for an exchange, refund, or store credit must be formally communicated to Transglobal within 5 calendar days from your receipt of the item.
Detail Provision: Clearly state the order number, the product, and a detailed reason for the return.
Guidance: Upon review and initial approval, our team will provide you with specific instructions on the return method (either to an authorised dealer for exchange or to our central warehouse for a refund inspection).
Failure to adhere to the 5-day notification requirement may result in the rejection of your return request.
4. Force Majeure
Transglobal Investments Co. Pvt Ltd., shall not be held liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in the performance of its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such delay or failure arises from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Acts of God: Including floods, earthquakes, cyclones, lightning, or other natural disasters.
Health Emergencies: Epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies declared by the Government of Sri Lanka or the World Health Organization.
Civil & Political Unrest: War, invasion, terrorism, civil unrest, riots, or government-imposed curfews.
Labor & Government Action: Strikes, labour disputes, or industrial action affecting supply chains; government actions, sanctions, import/export restrictions, or regulatory changes.
Logistics: Port closures, shipping delays, or disruptions to international freight.
Infrastructure: Power failures, fuel shortages, or infrastructure breakdowns affecting island-wide operations; disruptions to telecommunications or internet infrastructure.
Effect of Force Majeure
In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence, Transglobal Investments Co. Pvt Ltd will:
Notify affected customers as soon as reasonably practicable via email or phone.
Make reasonable efforts to fulfil pending orders once normal operations resume.
Offer customers the option to cancel their order and receive a full refund if the delay exceeds 30 days.
